Creative Off Camera Flash

Are you baffled when using Flash in your Photography?

Off Camera Flash Photography Course in Northern Ireland

This one-day Creative Off Camera Flash Photography Course with Paul Crawford will introduce you to working with your flash and discover the creative potential by taking your flash off the camera. The subject of flash often comes up during my beginner’s photography courses – this is the perfect workshop for beginners to get to grips with off camera flash and create professional looking results.
During the morning session, we will look at the essential kit required, the different types of light modifiers, the effect they have and when you should use them. We will look at the best settings to use on both your camera and flash to create natural looking results, explained in a jargon-free way with plenty of examples to illustrate.

Professional Model

After lunch we head outside to put the theory into practice. We will be working with a professional model in a range of different lighting set-ups. You will get a chance to shoot your own pictures – great for building your portfolio!
During the afternoon shoot, Paul will be on hand to offer advice and feedback, offer tips on posing and selecting the best backgrounds.

This workshop is limited to 8 photographers to give everyone plenty of time to photograph each lighting set-up. We provide all the flashguns, triggers and light modifiers giving you a chance to “try before you buy” your own.
