By making a booking on one of our upcoming photography courses/workshops, you are entering into an agreement as follows:
Bookings for photography courses are to be made via this website. Payment for your place on the course can be made via Paypal or Credit Card (via Stripe). When you book your place it will be reserved for you for 24 hours. If payment has not been received within 24 hours, your place on the course will be cancelled.
If you wish to cancel your booking
When you place any order via the Internet, you, the customer, has the right to cancel the order, without incurring any costs, by writing to the supplier with notice of cancellation under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. With this in mind, you have the right to cancel your photography course booking by writing to us within 10 days of making the booking (the cancellation period) with notice of cancellation. We will refund all money paid by you in full within 7 days of receiving this notice.
If you wish to cancel your booking after this 10 day cancellation period and more than 14 days before the course is scheduled, you will receive a full refund less a £10 administration fee within 7 days of us receiving your cancellation notice.
PLEASE NOTE: If you need to cancel within 14 days of the date of the course, or fail to show up on the day of the course for whatever reason, we are unable to offer any refunds.
If we need to cancel a Photography Course
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we need to cancel a course or if the venue becomes unavailable, we will inform you by email as soon as possible. We will try and reschedule the course for a different date/location. If you are unable to attend this re-scheduled course you may transfer your booking to a future photography course or receive a full refund.
With this in mind, if you plan to travel to Northern Ireland specifically for this photography course, we recommend that you purchase trip cancellation travel insurance as we are unable to cover and travel/accommodation expenses you may incur due to the cancellation of any course.
It is advisable to have adequate insurance for your own photographic equipment that you use during the photography course. We have public liability insurance in place but this will not cover any damage caused by the elements or accidental damage. We are not responsible for any damage incurred or loss suffered to your photographic equipment or belongings while you take part in the photography course.
By booking a place on our photography course you confirm that you are over the age of 16. Under 16’s may attend only if accompanied by a full paying adult throughout the course. Please inform us in advance if one of the places booked is for someone under the age of 16.
Gift vouchers can be redeemed against any of our Group Photography Courses or one-to-one workshops.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase (NOTE: For some promotional gift vouchers, the expiry date may vary)
The full value of the Gift Vouchers must be redeemed against your photography course booking – Unspent balances cannot be carried forward
Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash
During the course, you will ensure that you attend wearing appropriate clothing and footwear. Please inform us at time of booking if you have any mobility problems or require wheelchair access.
At all times during the course and while in attendance at the venue, you will conduct yourself in an orderly manner and not act in a manner that may cause offence, annoyance or inconvenience to other attendees, the staff at the venue or tutor, or cause or permit any damage to the fixtures and fittings at the venue. You will be responsible for the payment of any and all expenses incurred by you in relation to you attending the course.
Any personal information/data you provide at the time of booking the photography course is used solely to provide the service and process the payment. We do not share your personal information with any third parties.
If we need to contact you in relation to the course booking we will contact you in the first instance via email, or in urgent cases by the telephone number you provide.
Occasionally we will use images taken by students during the course on our blog and social media pages. If you prefer that WE DO NOT use your images, please inform us on the day of the course.
When you make your booking you agree to be added to our “Hints & Tips” mailing list. You can choose to opt out of this newsletter at any time by following the links to unsubscribe at the bottom of each email sent.
Intellectual Property Rights
All Intellectual Property Rights in, or arising out of, or in connection with the photography course together with the materials & handouts supplied shall be owned by, and the exclusive property of Paul Crawford, and can not be copied, shared or distributed.
In booking any photography course with us you are accepting the terms and conditions as detailed on this page.
